            could it be W A over an S
            then 15 to the left, and something in the rectangle with an S at the end in the box???
            I think their good....id say the red ones for a wound badge in silver....Nice scoopla

              I think It is a: V (verwundeten) A (abzeichen)
              S (silber)


              Translation: woundbadge in silver.


              And than a regtangular box for the L/ number

                      Hi,

                      IMO, some exceptions exists but Black base = KVK1, White Base = EK1
                      The white one's are more difficult to find. I am still looking for a mint one...

                          The wound badge case puzzles me - I would expect to see an outline shadow of a WB in the case, it looks like something else was possibly put in the case.

                            That's true. Doesn't have oval outline shadow, only a horizontal line at the top. Like from the shield.

                              both colors (on the base) are use for ic or kvk !
