Opinon on blue box

seen this box and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it? it seems to be marked out for a EK2

No nothing really I'm afraid, but I strongly suspect this is not of the WW2 era.

I'm not saying it's a fake, I don't think it is, as I feel this is perhaps more likely a case pertaining to some bonafide medal of a description from an unknown country, be it civil or military. I don't know.

Those are my thoughts anyway.
