Thanks , I appreciate it, and that sure settled that one quick. Ive never had that medal yet. Im thinking that vet, must have brought that home with its medal, as the daughter said her in laws got into the war souveniers before she had a chance to look at the stuff, and that was all they left. The pile of stuff i got that is with this red box. So i am assuming he must have had more things , and the box was just thrown aside after they took the medal. thats why the box is red . makes sense. Guess i need to keep the feelers out for a medal now .

One final question, is there a difference between a 3rd class, and a 4th class in regards to the box? thanks again.
