Members just post without looking what is there or what should be posted. Fakes are now also getting in between and then a thread dies.

Maybe Allan or Marcus can clean out those replies that shouldn't have been there in the first place?

                      Cheers, Thomas
                      Questions:

Do we know if the fake packets have actually been removed from this thread? If not, could someone make a list of the fakes by post number so we can sort out the good from the bad in what is otherwise an excellent thread?

One other question regarding wartime packets... Are there original unmarked packets or packets that have information labels glued to them?

                      Thanks for looking.

Hi, I noticed that the back vertical fold is always on the right, I have a pkt that it is on the left, and no marking on the back either thus this make it a fake pKt please?
                        Thanks
                        Alf.

                            Proper folds and markings?

I am hoping to pick up an EK2 today with packet. I have not encountered packets and am wondering if they all have the fold on the right side when looking at the back side of the packet. Also are there any made without maker marks? Thanks in advance......

Look for a packet with the fold on the right side, reverse.

There are original packets which do not have markers printed on them.

                              Good luck!!
