Is this case marked up as an Infatry Assault Badge item any good. I've seen and heard many things about this style of case. Is it good ?

Looks more of an Imperial type case to me.

Sorry just double checked now and the case is top is flat, so an imperial item, definately not for the IAB then !! Many thanks for your quick replies,

It could be from ANY era, I've never seen the likes to be honest and would need more detailed pic's and a black light test wouldn't do any harm to ascertain any glowing of the white part too.
