    LDO EK1 case marked L/52

    Hello everyone,

    I got this case recently and would like to see what your opinions are on it. It is marked L/52 just below the LDO logo inside the case and there is a price tag on the bottom of the case.
    All help is appreciated.

              Perfectly good and genuine - a latter/late war retail case.

              An EK1 or gold/silver wound badge could have been bought in this.

              Judging by the price I'd suspect perhaps it's likely an EK lived in this one though. Perhaps someone more conversant in such like could comment to that regard.

              The punch-out , well, this is a 'generic' recess I think for a multiple of awards (considering the base of course could be coverd in black also - KVK etc)
