    Ultra Violet Light Test On Cases

    Hi , i have just recently got myself an ultra violet light so that i can do some tests on my ek cases & ribbons . But i am not sure on what i should be looking for regarding using the light too tell what is or not fake ! Can anyone guide me on this issue ? Thanks Mark

    When you use a black light the inside material will glow. If you have some new material try that and then get a ribbon from a TR medal and do that and you will see the difference. There are other ways to determine if the material is war or post and that is to take a string of the material and burn it, if it turns to ash it is war if it melts it is post (this is just a guide, but pretty close).
