It's a good case for the EK1 screwback.

            Hello Allan,

If this is the Screwback type, it won't fit in.

It should be a tight fit, is the recessed base alot smaller than the round back plate of the EK1?

Won't fit ? Too big or too small ?

There are two 'hole' sizes in the screwback cases and then 'variations' following the two szes in relation to materials/with and without the 'cup', a 'gap recess' and so on. On this example there is no gap recess as the material of the base extends to cover any exposed area to the shell base of the case.

Is the material actually getting in the way of screwback perhaps ?

Off the top of my head, as I can't recall the specific base punch hole ident numbers.......63* and 64* in part I think, I'll have to check on those.

Anyway, that besides, what is the diameter of the recess ? A rough chord estimate will suffice, unless the base comes out in which case the base number would be great.

I'm not 101% coversant on EK screwback plates etc etc, but they do differ in size and at least to my knowledge and for the purpose of this thread only, there are two distinct sizes that accompany the two bases of the cases.

Al, can you check the white base 'cup' examples you have against a 'normal' black one mate and the measurements please.

I don't have my examples to hand at this very moment.

I'll dig a couple out and have a look.
