Case for Gold Recon Flight Clasp

    Gentlemen,

    For your opinions ...

I have my own but await yours. By the way, the discoloration in the interior (in the form of a rectangle where the clasp sits) is due to some previous owner using a thin foam pad to protect the badge. Chemicals leeched into the interior and discolored it. So please pay attention to how you treat these!

    Mike

A fake my friend, I believe made in the UK and they've been around in 'forms' for a couple of decades or more now; they endorse just about all insundry of Luft designations from the Luft GAB to the Retired Pilot - I call them the 'lattice fakes' due the right angular hatching pattern effect on the outer outer covering. (there is a genuine form of outer covering very similar, but this is not it of course)
