Hello, I have seen this EK2 cased on this site. I see the case very odd. And I don't like these two red straps to fix the band of the cross. What do you think?

The case is a known fake! If you search the cases and packet forum, you can find more threads about this Ldo case.
They even made it look used.

Looked at the site and also found this fake Ldo box: http://www.original-militaria.com/ca...productId=1056
And they have a lot of other fake stuff!
So be very careful if you want to buy something there!

A very common fake and one that has had a prevalent ascendancy for a couple of decades plus.
Such being so, you do encounter variations in these cases, the more recent made ones rather obvious and the earlier made fakes being of not just an aged appearance, but more a convincing quality in materials and overall look and feel.
However, they are fake no question about it in materials and detail.Comment
