          Andy, Rene,

Personally I do not lke these at all, and if I'd have seen either for sale on the e stand I would have contended their originality until either seller can prove they are genuine.

The actual paper packet is genuine, the maker mark is genuine - I have no contention with that.

However, the designations I do not prescribe as period. It's not he first time I've encountered such, the Flower War medal packets if you recall are devoid of designation's and as such 'fakers' have taken advantage of this to put on a designation of a description to suit (IAB. PAB & GAB mostly)

If you look closely at these packets the GAB and IAB you will notice the ink differ's from the maker mark, thus suggesting a post application of designation - in fact there's no two ways about it !

The crux is every genuine form of 'stamped' ink designation has traits, these packets do not conform to any genuine traits and follow the association concerning what I know to be fakes.

These need seriously looking into before 'deemed' genuine by any means.
