    Oktober medal cases - different eagles

    Are the eagles that are gold embossed on the lid of the Oktober flower wars medals all the same or did different manufacturers have slightly differing designs? I ask as I have 2 cased medals with the eagles on the cases being visibly different.

    There are variation's in the eagles yes and I'd put it down to different makers for the most part.

      Thanks Marcus. I'll try to get some pics posted of both. I am trying to raise funds to send my son to kindergarten (I can't believe how expensive it is and how much else I could buy with that kind of $) and I'm selling lots of duplicate items. I have 2 of these medals in cases and want to list one. What made me hesitate is the difference in the eagles on the cover of the case. I would obviously care to keep the rarest of any duplicates I have, however, I doubt any study has been made on these to help in determining which is most rare.

        Send me some pic's or post them here and we may be able to tell whats the oldest of the two or the better one as such, but in terms of rare - not really in these cases regard I'm afraid.
