Paper case for flak badge, opinions please...

Hi all,

I would really appreciate anyone's opinions on this paper case and tissue. Is this original?

The cardboard carton is genuine, it's stamped FLL and has only ever been encountered with this FLL IAB in bronze, i.e no other awards of this maker.

I'm not convinced this is a ''pair'' as such, I suspect it originally had an IAB in it.

Two of mine, one carton is marked.

Not this form of case exactly, no ! But I've only scratched the surface of discovery so far.

I'm always dubious of the cloud pattern boxes with anything other than the hoard find of the BSW IAB's in them too.

It's dealers and collectors buggering around with items for one reason or another half the time.

I appreciate the help. One note on this particular dealer. He's a very honest man who is working very hard trying to find out himself 'what is what' in the collecting field. He's confessed to me time and time again that his only desire is to please the customer with honest period pieces. I know he means it. I try and help him to this end.

This dealer of yours I like his attitude, contact me anytime privately or otherwise and I'll help him (erh.....if I can, I'm just a collector at the end of the day with an interest in these cases/packets etc that in turn knows bugger all about badges & crosses really)
