Pilot's Badge Case - Please Take A Look!

    Hi Everyone,

Took delivery of this today. However, I would appreciate the thoughts of my fellow members. I can't help but feel it is a modern case that has been aged and I can't find Ivan's article on Luft. Cases to compare against.

    Thanks for looking.

    All the best,
    Toby.

This is indeed a fake in my opinion, the layered grey cardboard base the actual catch mech. (although there is a similar genuine sorts encountered of course.....two in fact) and the catch a thick stem apex.

The outer coverig is a fake pattern too, I believe they use this on other cases not related to Luft awards in other colours.

Total crap mate, send it back !!!

                  Hi Marcus,

                  Many thanks for your reply.

Looks like my spidey-sense wasn't mistaken. Just wish it had tingled sooner.

                  All the best,
                  Toby.
