These LDO boxes are indeed 101% FAKE, there is absolutely no doubt about that, Al.

They're made in the UK and have been around for at least twenty or so years; in fact, I even own an example exactly as the one portrayed in this thread. I/we may have discussed these before if I'm not mistaken?

In fact, I'm sure you can still obtain these from certain dealer sites (Nicholas Morigi for perhaps one in our neck of the woods) in all their colours and sizes. If I'm not mistaken and to be exact, they were produced in Birmingham, England

Cased Medals

Some real beauties for sure . But I'd have to say Eddies cased DKIG and DKIS caught my attention the most. Very nice!!

A Deschler table medal, made in 1936 to commemorate the 75th birthday of Gustav Deschler!!

Gusatv Deschler on the obverse, and the old Deschler factory on the reverse, that was destroyed by allied bombing in 1945............

Cased Awards

Wow. Some amazing cased awards. Definately love the 12yr SS. And the cased Russian front medal with stick pin catches my eye. . Thanks for sharing.

Just caught this thread. WOW! Some beautiful pieces and I guess to each his own on what is the nicest award shown. They are all what collectors' dreams are made of but to me the stand out is Bob's DKiGmB. That's what collectors' WET dreams are made of!
