Hi Thomas - yes you can, it is a perfectly good LDO case although more probably for a KVK (note how tightly the EK fits in the recess). You'll have no probs with this dealer either.

It is a nice older pattern LDO case, the later ones had a rectangular LDO logo on the centre of the inside of the lid. They should be 'maroon' in colour, the 2nd pic looks a little chestnut brown, maybe it is his lighting/photography or maybe it has faded? I'm sure that it is OK though.

Yes indeed a genuine case and perhaps one in every 20 plus of these very brown coloured cases do you find the Deumer Bee logo and a designation for an EK2 with a red base, more often than not they are for the KVK 2 and I believe the red base was more so inclined to receive the KVK than intentially for both EK and KVK (and not just solely by percentage of KVK to EK in them) - the EK's had in this type blue bases.

On the underside you also find these cases void of any designation or make logo's too (wahite opasted paper or just brown outer covering)

These cases are intentionally brown and not the burgundy, I consider this one of the most early forms of cardboard Ldo packageing.
