2 Different EKI 1914 Boxes

Hi guys,

I just want to show you two different types of EKI boxes. The one on the right it´s an early war type.
About the second type, I don´t know much. Could this type of box be used with the III Reich made 1914 EK´s.
Which type of boxes did they use for the replacements, then?

Any information would be really appreciate.

yours looks one like one I had a little while ago, did you look into the case for any markings and the setup of the button etc. ?

The one on the left I believe is more likely to be post 1918, perhaps 1920's rather than from 1933-39.

I have one in an outer carton without the red seal and it is strongly suggested these are post the first war but not TR era.
