    EKII Ribbon Packet

    Hi Guys,

    Ever since I saw one of these in 'The Iron Time' I was facinated as to why someone would want to make an envelope to issue an EKII ribbon and for some reason I just wanted to enter one into my small EKII collection.

    Surely the way to do things would be to issue bundles of 10 or 100 - (I have a nice unopened bundle of 10).

    Still, here we have what I think is a nice example.

    Paper has that smooth, slightly waxy and glossy sheen that I like on EKII cross packets and overall in pretty good condition - crease to the top only flaw.

    Still Guys, I want your opinions on this one.

    Also, would the ribbons in these packets be for a cross or a uniform - length of ribbon is approx. 18.5 cms - straight cut.

      Nice packet.

      Thought to be for a retail replacement ribbon.

      I think the ribbon would be for a uniform.

      If the EK11 were to be mounted, it would probably have been done by a jeweller.
