Need help with Hindenburg cases

Your three hard cases are genuine of course, so is the wax packet with the 'Widows' Cross, I have one like that too. Yours is in much better condition though.

I have seen red and then green translucent waxy forms also for the crosses and this is how they came to the recipient, the cases of course being 'private purchase' as indeed a couple of your documents will state of course, these to being sent witht he award also in a postage envelope.


Of the little cardboard boxes, the red one is indeed known and I have seen these before yes and I have no doubts on those, 1930's I very much imagine.

The white 1914-1918 little cardboard box however I have never seen before ?

I have no idea if it's good or bad to be honest, but I am aware of such similar obscure little boxes in all nature of guise, so I don't consider it dubious as such, I just couldn't say either way with conviction.

Can we see some close ups and inside the little white box please ?

Am I right in thinking that the blue base has been removed from another box and bent to fit into this white box? The whole thing looks a little bit "dodgy" I think.

Oh erh !! Uuumm I'm less inclined personally speaking to believe the white box, it look's far more modern in construction than first percieved yes !!

As pointed out the folded base with outer covering - not a good sign in my opinion !

This one I do take exception to if honest !!
