      Sorry to say this, but I think this case is for the Faithful Service Cross. The Iron Cross does not fit properly like with the real EK2 LDO cases...Tom

                Scream! I'd never considered this and have had to run and check mine. I've attached a photo and after looking there does seem to be a difference in the size of the recess. I have a space around my crosses and the recess is very pronounced, not shallow.

                  Like I said, sorry to bring this point up, because I can tell how excited you were to get this. There are lots of these Faithul Service Cross cases that people try to pass off as Iron Cross cases. The true Iron Cross ones are indeed very rare...Tom

                        To me, it looks like someone pressed the EK into the smaller opening to make it look like it might sort of fit, but it clearly does not...Tom

                            Notice the free space between the cross and the recess in the case. All the originals fit like this...Tom
