Case fpr the Ground Combat Badge!

Hi fellows,

today I got a nice case ....

I visited a guy who's father was a Flak Soldier. He offered me his fathers cased Flak-Badge (I listed it on E-Stand) and this case.
He also had the award documents from his father and the Soldbuch and he was awarded with the Flak-Badge, the EK2, the WB in Black and the Ground Combat Badge. Unfortunately he did not have the Ground Combat Badge and the other badges. It's logical for me, that this case must be for the Ground Combat Badge ... any other opinions?

Btw ... he did not sell me the documents of his father ... he worried because of his fathers name on the docs.

It looks to be a generic case for luftwaffe awards. Could well have been for his Ground Combat Badge but who could say if the case was only for GAB's?

thats a beauty and very hard to find. These are the only cases that I******180;ve seen with Ground Assault Badges in.

I have one exactly the same, with that weird clasp, and mine has a MuK5 in it.

Only once have I seen one of these cases with the designation on it and that was shown by John T. some time ago. Unfortunatly I was a bit to slow and one of the other members snapped it up.
