Actually guys medal, tissue paper and packet are complete and utter modern fakes, there's a thread on these they're sold by Soldat I think, as repo's.Comment

Check out this KVK packet, I did warn you there are pefect examples out there !!!!
They don't get better than this !
I would love to have one of these in hand, just the packet to aid us and the Ost Front packet too.

Man, that is frightening. won't be long before these are indistinguishable. I'd also like to see some closeups of the medals, to see what - if any - differences there are to originals.

idd....I have it with dealers who sell fake items (for example these) for originals.

At least this guy states they are fakes, and he is into the reenactor scene of things, helmets, webbing etc.
So a bad guy ? No not this seller(he's not on my bad guy list.......and besides if approached he'll help us I'm sure, even the naughty guys have been known to be very helpful to me !!). There are others thought that sell such as originals etc with a different intent and purpose !
Of course all fakes don't do us any favours, the Ost medal packet is interesting for me as I'd like to compare this to the Wernstein/GWL/ Frank and Reif EK, spange, KVK packets and Schwerin U-boat, HSF and the infamous TDB packet !!!
The KVK packet, I'd just love to see and see what maker name is on it too. I need these in hand.Comment

Your are right Marcus. I am not referring to the Ostfront.com. He sells it indeed as repro. So thats honest and respectable. I was talking in general.
The shown packet / badge is from another dealer.
I have asked the seller of this particular packet if the badge if it glows. I dont know if that makes a difference maybe..Comment

Glowing, I doubt it will, the odd fleck maybe which is natural and normal be it genuine say or as it is a fake.
BL on coloured packets as such will not show a glow, or lets say VERY rarely, I don't suspect this paper type to glow though at all. Some sorts will have a frost effect, but not a glow. Under BL some packets will differ in colour, this is not a glow as such.Comment
