    K&Q EK1 Outer Carton

    Guys,
Based on concerns raised when an EK 1 outer carton similar to one I own were raised in another thread, I'm going to throw mine out for opinions. While I understand that a vet purchase does not guarantee authenticity, I had never considered that it might not be original. I've owned it about thirteen years and know the history back to the point where it came out of the woodwork. That being said, this is not something I'm particulary farmiliar with so we'll see what you guys think. While I'm not sure if this color paper glows in the first place, niether the internal nor external reacts to blacklight.

    We'll start with the top.

The button on the inner case wore a hole in the outer flap.

It looks fine to me Larry, and don't pay to much heed to this black light lark either on packets and cardboard, glow they will not and it's other effect's you have to look for.

Useing BL on cardbopard and types of paper we're concerned with in packageing is useless for most part.

Material's in construstion, say liners in cases and some inks, white cardboard frames in cases etc yeah sure BL can be a tell tale effect tool.

On some packets, it's fair to say yes it can be used and it's a dull speckled/frost we would look for. Having said that, depending what the packet has been in contact with can effect the results.

I'll disagree. Complete fake, cross and all. Fortunately, I'll take it off your hands for $50.

                        No? Oh well...worth a try!!

                        Sweet set Larry!
