EK2 packet w/ mm error?

Gents,

I'm showing this EK2 packet to hear your opinion. The oberverse looks familiar with all details looking good. The obverse, however, has a stamp from Wächtler & Lange! In this case, Wächtler is seen as Wächter, thus without the letter 'L'...
A recent search on the forum made me find this thread:

I have never seen this before but tend to believe it is original. There are more similar packets out there and this is no longer an 'unique' item. Meanwhile, are there more conclusions regarding this matter?

In my opinion this is just a type set error and just that simple, there were many thousands made like it and many still exist today of course. Such simple error's that can be found on an array of packets with similar mistakes.

I do think the firm's name is with the L rather than not too. Taking into account outer cartons and other numerous packets to this common maker and their spelling just as a provincial guide.


I persinally have no doubt in the packets authenticity at all.
