    Baby Hindenburg...

After seeing the beauty of Rik, I realised I had a cased ‘poor mans version’ Hindenburg cross somewhere.
Not as nice as yours Rik, but nice to put in the shadow of yours.

    The cross is marked G & S.

Yeah I've seen these on German e bay from time to time, I like them and consider them good

Not one I've bought yet. I've a packeted one etc and need the dual EK cased example but have always left this one out......I must get one.

            Hi Marcus and Rik,

            Thank you for your comments!
I always liked the little box very much, but when I uploaded it yesterday I suddenly thought: Hey, I never even considered this to be a bad one, I will be very disappointed if someone should say the case isn't good…
So I am glad you like it too!

I bought this indeed on the German E-Bay or Yahoo, in the very, very early days of internet auctions.
Can you still remember those days, when even E-Bay America showed about only 12 pages of militaria?
By Tuesday I had seen every item and made my choices, last second bidders were not done and after a smooth auction especially German sellers contacted you directly if they had stuff for sale of which they thought you might be interested in.

Life seemed so less complicated those days, but I guess I only recall the good bits…
