Help wanted on an HA EKII packet

    Dear all,

Here is an EKII envelope I would like to hear your opinions about.
It came together with a 113 marked EKII.
I fell in love because of the combination small packet / EKII.

    But...
Nowadays I have some doubts with the packet of issue.
I think the material is ok and the smell is good.
I don’t have problems with the cutting or folding.
    It is nicely maker marked.
But it’s the text on the packet: it seems sharper than I am used to with original packets of issue.
Little fear that it might be inkt jetted...
Anyone experienced with Hermann Aurich packets?

Looking forward to hear from you!

    Regards,
    Martin

This is one of the 'scrawl' fake series better examples, there are other near perfect fakes now of packets designation wise, there are other traits to look for to distinguish them luckily.

For one not e the imperfections in the print, other than that typical paper used for such fakes. The maker mark, I think they guess invent what they don't know, their Ldo packets are the best copies and near perfect apart from give away paper and other things, I'd best not reveal to much eh !!!

The smell I wouldn't even consider to be honest.

      Hi Marcus,

Thank you very much for the reply!
Sad the packet ain't healthy, but a comfort that I already had a bad feeling.

I am not familiar with the term 'scrawl fake' and I couldn't find an explanating thread, only some threads that mention 'scrawl fakes'.
Can you help me a bit on my way with that?

      Kind regards,

      Martin

Sure Martin, I'd scan some pic's these fakes and post them for you in thread with a sort of explanation (if you can understand my waffle), it will be in a couple of days though I'm afraid.
