    Forster packets on "Downfall"?

Did any one notice in the movie " The Downfall " when Hitler decorated the HJ outside the bunker, that on a tray full of ek's there were several blue packets with the thick 1939 stamping like on Forster's? Charlie

Great eye!! I made the same observation and thought I made a post similiar in the past. I probably started and erased it, like I sometimes do. Too bad we can't see the backs of the packets. That is my favorite scene in the movie!!! I actually paused it to look at the packets and EkII's when I first watched it.

At least we know they are being used now! Charlie

I'v been waiting for someone to pick up on this!!!

The frightening thing is that the print as shown on the packets, which I assume were printed for the film, is really good
Looking for information on RKT KARL HUBER

Have you guys noticed a slight discoloration around the outside edges of these packets? Like maybe they were bundled tightly together and aged in a low temperature heater?

The thing is before we jump guns here, the desigantion on Forster packets is a generic designation used on many many other marker marked packets. There are two versions of this genuine title, one being just smaller, that is on the whole the 'larger' type prevails in being encountered on all mm packets of this 'type'.

Perhaps they were the F&G packets they were cheap enough and plentiful in Germany ? Even so, it dosen't mean they are fake, I've studied these packets and have done a thread on them. I think the F&G packets are genuine and when I get them ink and paper age tested we'll know for sure.

I'll see if I can get still from the film.

              Hey Marcus,

When do you think that you will be able to get them tested?

              All the best mate.

Bugger, the CD won't work in the main comp. but they do look like the designation and wouldn't mind betting thats what they are in all likely hood, F&G packets.

Here you go Marcus. I had to take a picture of my monitor, this is the best I can do

Although I would say that the designation is good and looks like Forster and all the other packets with the larger design, I don't think that it are real packets. I also don't think that it was the real Hitler in this movie .

Look at the white circles. I would say that they are maybe printed on DIN A4 and only folded to let them look like packets.

What is the EKI/EKII on the top of the picture?

                    Greetings, Thomas

It could be Thomas that there are two packets but the underside packet has the flap from the top one over it. Thanks for posting that mate , I really appreciate that

When will I get them tested, along will the CCC boxes etc etc when I gather some monies together ! It's research yes, but for the money I could buy some nice badges !!!

                        After Stuttgart at least
