          Hi Manu,

To be honest I don't know, I've never seen the exact likes before. There are one or two fakes eminateing along these lines from europe, but I'm not conversant with them all to date.

So really can't tell on this one.

            Hi Manu,

I don't know much about these carton cases, but here are my thoughts.

            - Why Fallschirm abzeichen and not Fallschirmschuetzenabzeichen
            - What about the colour of the inside, its looks very new and I would expect a more brown coloured paperboard and not grey.
            - Did you test it with blacklight?

Maybe all my point can be easily explained, but like I said not really my field.

            Good luck and greetings, Thomas

You excuse but my camera is really very bad, these photo I believe that have a color more believer to the original one.
the test with blacklight is OK and the color inside appair brown.

Besides the full title of the desigantion, it's the gilt application ? On such a rudimentry form of packageing I wouldn't expect that from a WW2 package.

I'm not sure if it is fake or not, but consideration to the account of perhaps a post war box for either East or a West German badge of sorts, maybe even a civil form of badge within that thought process ?

I'll post a link to the DDR forum and see what, if anything can be perhaps deduced over there even.
