Hi Guys, did the legion condor badge came in such a box, spanish writing on the box.

This case is for the spanish medal for 250 infanterie division, the BLUE DIVISION.

Firstly I'll say honestly I don't know if this is period or not



The problem with these Spanish awards is that they were still made post 1945 right up until and around 33 years or so ago. There are differences in the medals, all of them to implicate a modern manufacture, the crux here is the award packageing.......it is so far as I'm aware exactly the same as period packageing.

Hence to the extent of telephone number digits etc, I'm sure there was surplus awards and boxes post war, but how to tell the difference between more modern made boxes of the same charateristics is beyond me in pictures and even side by side in hand on most of these Spanish award boxes.

Yes the box prescribes to one of makers and purports to the correct box design that I'm aware of, but I'm NOT fully conversant with them, so I can't judge or comment validity or give an opinion.

Angel, a Spanish forum member is far more qualified to comment on this box than I, and other members may be able to help also that own such like or have more knowledge in this sphere.

If it were me, and the price was cheap enough I'd venture and purchase it.

Thanks for the reply Marcus, very helpfull, learned a few things more, actually the seller is asking 25 euro for this packet so I may consider purchasing it.
