    SA-Sportsbadge LDO packet

I found this packet in an online auction with a SA-Defensebadge. I only know the small boxes for the SA-Sportsbadge. Any opinions about this packet?

I saw this badge with packet on the same site, i personally don't like the packet (badge is OK for me)
The overall looks of the packet is poor (printing is not convinced)
btw this is my own meaning.

Yes, the badge was ok, but it was a SA-Defensebadge and the packet is for the SA-Sportsbadge.

Clever and very and convincing this one. On these the red/pink desigantion is perfect, the only way to tell these good from bad is with the black light, the red ink will glow if modern......but the BL is not a gospel method, it's fundamental.

Now onto the packet, paper from the pic is believable, thats something you have to hold and feel at look at etc

However, although some fakers, esp. of the new breed packets have got the Ldo logo perfect ! This is not, forget the printing defects for now, this logo is incorrect, the space within the D and the letter spacing.

The warrenty, it looks fair, but on closer inspection the wandfreien is incorrect in assimilation with the wording on originals and the spacing incorrect for F R E I E N. On the paper packets of this type alone, the wording is spaced not individual letters of the word, note on paper Ldo packets. (Don't relate to warrenty cards, cellophane packets or Forster & Graf packets etc)

Of the four Ldo warrenties on packets in their forms, this one does not relate or configure; prescribe full stop with known genuine examples in my opinion.

Therefore with the combination of logo and warrenty I would announce this as fake.

The red lettering, I don't know nor do I concerning the packet really form the pic's. Could they have added the Ldo bumf onto a genuine packet, possible I guess ?? Seems elaborate, but I've seen worse and better configurements.

Overall it's one to be avoided.

There do exist latter war packets with no maker mark or Ldo markings.....could this have been one perhaps ?

I'll post some examples later in another thread and a good fake !!

This is only my opinion and thoughts though, others may want to disagree and suggest something.
