    EK1 Box (Opinion)

    Hello,
I'm about to buy this box, for my new EK1 I bought (I'll post the cross soon). I'm unsure if the box is original. Perhaps someone could help.
The owner said that this box is an EK1 original box from WW2, but there is no manufactur markers on it.

    Thank You for Your help!

    Hi Kris,

Can we see a pic of the catch head, from an eye level perspective...... the head being the oblate half round thing that goes into the lid of the box.

I like it more than not at this moment in time, there is a smooth outer covering (several of) for these boxes and it always confuses me betwwen good and bad on these types.

Make sure you get return privillage's should you get it and we find it to be not good !

The cross motif looks very deeply stamped in !

This one where the catch and looking under the base would be very helpful on deliberation.

            Hi Kris,

The catch dosen't appear to have a beak like the fakes or the apex head on the catch.

From these pic's I'd say it looked more good than bad.

              Hi Marcus,

Thank You for the opinion Especially that is a positive one, and the box is in superior condition.
This will do a perfect set with my EK1 http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=136797.
