    Narvik schild - known fake?

    Good evening Gentlemen,

    As I prepare to sell most of my collection on e-stand, I have 4 old items that I can not associate to a known / accepted dealer (Detlev, Collectors guild, craig g etc).<O

    I picked these pieces up at flea markets in Holland etc years ago. Andy Butkus mentioned that my IAB Silver was a well known fake - and I should post it to hear the laughter. I also post these two shields. <O

          Hi Eric,
          IMO both shields are original.
          The Narvik shield is most probably made by Deumer. The maker of the Demjansk shield is not known.

            thank you Pascal , I am suprised yet relieved!! I was prepared for the worst. Now I await the verdict on my IAB posted in the other forum and I will be good to unlease a good portion of my collection into e-stand

            anyone looking to buy a CCC Gold or cased mint Dkig '134' ???

              I can tell only about Narvik: i think it's OK, it's the second type shield, late production.

                  Hi Eric nice originals. Especially like the Demjansk, been after one of these for awhile now but cant seem to drag myself away from the KM awards . All the best.
