WOW Sascha, what a great grouping and story behind the shield. Interesting that he/the family received 3 of them.

                I’m sorry

                Schütze0815,

I’m sorry to say that I think yours are post/fab - not original.

                Few ex,

Take a look at oak leaves around the swastika. To wide and misses their “marks”.
The way the text of Narvik stands out, regarding the propellers “armrest” is to close to the “boar/edge”
How the ropes are laying underneath the leathers and one of the biggest one, how the oak leafs are to close an wide to their lowest point.

Take a good look at the end of the propellers blade and how it touches the boar around the shield...

I’m sorry, but my opinion is that these are in a need for further investigation!

I can say that mine comes directly from the narvik area.

                Kind regards

The curves of the eagles inner circle

Sorry to lay another bad observation, if you take a good look inside the circle of the eagles head,
you will notice that wings are in a classic curve on mine, wich they a to be...

                  Sorry!

                  Hope I’m wrong.

                  But that’s my opinion.

Can you please post your shield "which comes directly from the Narvik area", and I presume you compared Sascha's shield with?

Always interesting to see and hear why you think this type is not original.

Ps. Did you read Sascha's blog? This shield came directly from the veterans family.
