Krim vs Kuban №2

On the shields of the Crimea this displacement was expedient, the places of soldering were buried in the relief of the peninsula.
Under it, and cut out for clamping plates.
For shields of the Kuban offset does not have practical sense, but cutting for pressure plates was used from the shields of the Crimea, so one mustache continued to solder with offset.

Well spotted Vladimnir and another excellent thread. All those years looking at the front and don't give the back much attention. Turns out the back is almost as interesting as the front.
Another two examples of a Krim and a Kuban with the lower left prong at almost the exact same angle.

Vladimir moved the atention from the shields to their back!
Since now on, no one will ever look at the front side, all will watch only at the back plates and prongs!
BTW, indeed another great find. The only problem is that unfortunately both the Krim and the Kuban are from unknown maker! The same, but still unknown...Last edited by Antonio Scapini; 03-19-2018, 12:10 PM.
