      I agree that it looks good, but some better shots are needed.

        Thanks lads for the advice. It is for sale on a site called synders treasures. It would appear that even from my limited experience on WAF. This site seems to have a poor reputation and sells a lot of crap. Also the Cholm shields are hard to find, yet this site seems to have plenty. Should I stay clear?

          Well since you've mentioned Synders Treasures, I'd proceed with caution. How much is he asking for the shield?

              Looking at the shield better the eagle's head is not what I would expect to see, and other details look odd.
              Ask for better pictures.
              PS: search for some infos about Snyder, I'm sure you will find a lot.

                He is asking $1,000 for the one shown but has a second for a similar price and one for about half that. It would seem that the general consensus on WAF is that he is a bit dodgy (at best)

                    the design is incorrect for an original Cholm shield- just look at the head of the eagle!!

                    C. Snyder is no longer in the land of the living so probably just remnants on his website
