Kreta cufftitle two faces

Hi guys, just bought this one, recently I also bought a mint one from Giel and thought that having a non mint and worn would be interesting. As you can see this cufftitle has got two faces, what might be the staine?, regards, Juan

In the 80s a few hundreds Kreta cuff tittles were found in Wroclaw (Breslau). They were stored in a wet cellar. Many of them were in almost mint condition, many of them had marks of storage, some of them were comletely destroyed. This is one of them in good condition.

Thanks Piotr, interesting find then, good to know that my cufftitle s origin is Breslau, most importantly the cufftitle is in one piece, the staine somehow gives it some character

Yes, I confirm the story! Afrika cufftitles were also found in this hoard. I own one of those in mint conditions
