    Kuban shield for review

    Hi!

I posted these pics in the wrong category. One guy already said fake, but I would like more opinions on it if possible. I hope someone can help.
    Thank you.

Not the best pictures, especially the eagle's head is difficult to see.
However from these pictures I would say it's an original shield.

        ..

        Thank you Pascal.
I have read your pinned post, but couldn't decide what I think. I first posted this one in the wrong category under heer medals.
Two forum members already says bad fake. I'm not sure what to think.

I agree with Pascal that the head is probably what makes it looks like a bad fake to most. To me the rest of the shield looks fine, but a better photo of the head would help. The beak looks like it got damaged during the manufacturing process.

Thank you for the additional pictures.
Just as I suspected there is nothing wrong with this Kuban shield.
This is the same type of shield as in the pinned thread.

The angle of the first pictures makes the eagles head look very strange and the new pictures are much better.

Nice original shield and I am glad you didn't threw it away .

Congratulations, looks much nicer without the strange effects of angles and shadows in the first photo. I think you've done fairly well with the items you've been posting recently being originals.

With these new pics, I also like it. Thanks for posting, I stand corrected on my earlier post in the Heer section. Glad you posted it here for in the correct forum.
