So far so good! Thanks for the input, Gents. And now, here is the acid test: As promised, I finally have photos to pose of the reverse side. Still looking good? (Sorry, I can find no "fingers Crossed" emoticon to place here...)

IMO this is not an original shield.
The shield looks very convincing from the front but you'll notice the soft and round details unlike the original. The real give away is the the set-up on the back. No original Narvik shield was made with such a set-up. Also when the backing is removed you'll see that this is a cast copy.
Always ask for detailed pictures of the front and back when considering a purchase.

Yep, as soon as I saw the photos of the reverse I knew the news would be bad. Thanks all for helping save a few bucks.
