The ink stamp on the Swaz one is a leading indicator ,it's junk. Why anyone would think that stamping clothing on THE OUTSIDE is a good idea, is amazing. Someone made and sold those stamps and idiots have been stamping anything and everything since. It's almost funny. B

Are all three fake, or just the stamped one? Or are you basing all fake due to one stamp? Need an opinion on these as looking to buy them.
        Thanks Neil

I wouldn't touch any of them unless they were $5 or less and then , I don't know even then. I started going to gun shows about 1969 and I don't remember these armbands at all. I do remember seeing cloth tapes of "Volksturm" armbands that had yet to be cut. Those I would believe to be real . Then all of a sudden, about 1990,legions of armbands started showing up with these stupid stamps and some without. They were in some cases , artificially aged and obvious. Then came the Death camp triangled ones, that "SS" ones and just about anything else you could think of. Cheap to produce, the eastern block was let loose to learn capitalism using armbands as the tool. If you have ever seen real ones, you could tell the difference mainly by the cloth. I never have cared to find out because there are so many fakes, the real ones, if they exist , are lost in the melee. Good luck, B

The "State Service" (one with the eagle) is a fine original. Some original armbands were ink-stamped. Don't take my word for it- do a search on this site and look at some genuine examples.
The darker yellow DW is original, also. I can't say for sure about the other DW one.
            Regards,
            Kent

Waffle is right, I have even seen them with two stamps and totally right....there are two configurations of these state service , the differences is the number of feathers under the wings...but all these are good IMO.
Of course there were lots of armbands faked with fake stamps, but the stamps should tell you the area the band was in service from, and so do not alway condemn any band till it is checked out here for originality. Good call waffle .

                All are good

Quite common to have stamps on armbands.

                Some examples........
