Hi Guys,

may I ask you for a sound advice ?

I had bought this CT some time ago from a well known forum member !

Up to now I had no reason to argue about origin !

I have put it for sale in the 'insignia' E stand file !

Please help determining origin and or any possible issue !!

May I suggest that you have your Schlageter cuff band discussed as I'm sure it is a fake.

Original flying unit cuff bands do not have braid borders and the letter "J" should not have the central horizontal stroke. All the letters look poor when compared to the excellent Horst Wessel.

Mike is correct, the Schlageter is 100% fake. This type is recent and also pretty common, they come for all units with that same weird lettering type. Also look at the lack of fold over on the reverse, you will be hard pressed to find a genuine LW cuff with that construction.
