Yes, you're right this is indeed a fake.
It is always better to make straight on pictures of the shield/badge. Pictures from an angle can be very misleading.
In order to prevent this thread becoming useless when these pictures disappear (as they are not on the WAF server) I will post these (rotated) pictures again.
