    Afrikakorps Cuff Title, opinions please?

Hello! Long time 'lurker' here looking for an opinion on this cuff title. It seems to be hitting on some/most of the common points but hoping the more experienced eyes here can shed some light. I have a "diamond/tartan" fake and this looks nothing like it. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the confirmation. I thought it was good but it's so crisp and the bullion so shiny (shinier than the repro even) it cast doubt in my mind. Also hearing so much about the R-P hole size differences on the reverse on other threads but that seems to not be as much a "thing" as it once was.

This one seems to be identical to the one in this previously discussed thread:

Any opinions on current [ballpark] market value? Not sure whether the usual sites are realistic or inflated on these. Feel free to PM if preferred.

These are my favorite variation of the Afrikakorps cuff title, the flatwire is just great on these and I like how its tacked along the back.

Its just a variation and the cuff is worth probably around 100-150 USD realisitcally. Matt

I agree with the guys, a nice original cufftitle.

Agree with Matt $100-175us is the collector to collector price, though have seen dealers want as much as $375 which is absurd.

The "same sized R-P hole size difference" is a myth from years ago, it was never even considered by many ct collectors who knew better. Too bad as some good AKCT's were labled fake that were in fact original.

Your above example is a fine original. This thread may help...

                very nice one.

lots of these were found unissued so there are many in a shape like yours (very good).

Compare the back of this one to the tartan fake and you will never question a good AKCT again.
note the twist of the threads/wire and how they are woven.
