I don't collect cuff titles, but pictures like this make me want to. I have never before seen the cuff title with the single word "Afrika" and the sub-dued "Kreta". They are wonderful!
          When you go home
Tell them for us and say

that must have been a pain in the butt to pick out all of the letters from Korps for that cuff title. Very cool though. Matt

Thanks Antonio for posting all Rob's Afrika ct's. Here are a couple blue KM Krete ct's to compare with Rob's.

Agree Matt, we have seen a couple of these now and each time i think the same, removing the Korps would be tedious...

Rob's got a lot of cool variations of the AKCT,
The black AKCT is the supposed EM version without the border, though all ranks wore this version and the version with the silver edging.

Everybody, is there any photographic evidence of the blue KM Krete ct worn on a tunic during the war ?

                        & Rob,

Has the first AKCT in top upper left (above the shortened "Afrika" akct) been worn or is it just shortened ?

& the first top two Afrika ct's look questionable to me ? Especially the Palm trees, anybody else think so ?

Thanks again Tim and Antonio for posting these for me.In regards to the two identical AFRIKA titles with Russia braid edging, they are,too the best of my knowledge, legit examples.I'm hoping another member may weigh in on these and lend some support to confirm their originality.I will take some better and closer shots of each as soon as practicable, regards Rob.

I'll have a closer look but the top AKCT has definitely been shortened, will confirm whether traces of thread or holes are present to indicate possible actual useage.

Hi Guys, Rob and I have spoke about these in the past. The two Afrika titles mentioned are perfectly legit.

I have examined one just the same in a lot which was brought home by a British Intel Officer during the war. I don't have a close up photo of it, but it can be seen here. This is all the material he brought back

                            Cheers, Ade.

                              Thanks Ade,

Good to know, perhaps they are late war ? The workmanship is quite poor compared to the standard Afrika ct. Ade taught me everything i know about ct's

Any word on the blue KM Krete version, anyone ?

                              cheers
                              Tim
