    Antonio,
Yes, I understand the idea of what you are saying here.
I have always gone with the old way of thinking. I am old. 61 years old, the last time I looked.
I started collecting in the middle 60's, back last century, before they had electricity. No computers, no military shows. Just gun shows and I was too young to know about them or to have anyone that would have driven me to one.
Once again, thank you for your comments. I solicited your opinion for said cuff title and I appreciate your taking the time to look it over and share your thoughts.
    Respectfully,
    Tim

And i thank you both for a non personal, back and forth debate without any childish name calling.

A lot of us learn by sitting on the sidelines just reading.

      So thank you both

Hi Tim, you made some very good observations and I now see some clear differences between the type being offered for sale, the ones owned by Antonio and Bob and then my piece, which I got from Frank Heukemes, and that has a more elongated than round inner part of the number nine. Don't know what to derrive from all that though. Circumstantial evidence like the war was soon to end IMO is irrelevant as they either were dreaming of the endsieg because of the Fuhrers soon to come wunderwaffe or being to affraid to let their views about them losing the war being used as an argument for decissionmaking.

Yes, this pattern is known. It is different from the other posted. Probably made from the same firm, but we cannot be sure of it. If the maker was the same then it is a variant.
