Original Afrika Cufftitle?

Hello,

I was wondering if this is an original cufftitle or not.
It is 22 cm long (around 8.8 inches), might this be an original length?
Looks like it has been heavily worn.
Are there traces of glue at the back or is it just because of it being worn?
I hope the picture is allright...
