This is the type with the tabs. Sadly all the tabs are broken which will explain the holes.
If you look closely you can still the the makers mark.

Pascal, many thanks for your opinion and the picture, seller says that prongs were missing initially, the shield was founded sewn on the coat...

This can explain why the tabs were cut and the presence of the holes.
I agree with Pascal, an original Orth.

I agree and think the prongs could be broken during the wartime and an owner had adapted the holes to fix the shield on the tunic...
