    New to Krims

    Hi guys,

I've recently bought my first KS and I'm pretty sure its Ok- however the last 2, 1942 appears to be at a slight angle. Is this normal & possibly due to wear or handling?

Please let me know your thoughts.

    Cheers,

    Jamie

    .......

It's probably a slight angle on the photo that's caused that.

Your shield is a good original example

      Goodo.

However, there is still a slight angle. I know that when it comes to coins excessive handling can effect the finer details. As long as it's not a known floor, I'm happy

      Cheers,

      jamie.

          Congrats

Congrats on a nice Krim de la Krim Shield. Be careful, shield collecting can lead to possible Kubans, Cholm's and a bad case of Demjansk's. Nice first Shield.

Thanks guys for your kind comments.
I bought this shield rather cheap. I wanted to have one in the hand before I started collecting them in order to get a feel for what their like.

You're not wrong about waiting Lee- the Krim was posted 24th of October (& arrived 14th of December), from Poland.

to the seller plaut, who launched an investigation (with the Polish post office, which Australia post assisted with) when we both thought all was lost.

It took a while, but now the shied has a home.
