    Yet another "real or not" question, would appreciate if anyone could give me hints as to the possible autheticity of this badge, could it possible be an original:

    It has a leather plate at the rear with a stamp that reads: F A D

    Could this possibly be an original.

    Some wear on the metallic plate on the front.

    Hi Bärwald,

    First impression if you ask for opinions, paper backing no good,
    clothing no good, patina no good, front no good...
    but this is just a first impression, let's hear more knowledgeable opinions.

      From these photos the shield looks Ok, but backing is definitely crap.
