    Kuban Shield

Hi To everyone, here are photos of a Kuban shield someone is offering me. The shield looks good to me but I would appreciate other people's opinion.

              KUBAN Shield

              Antonio:

Isn't that 'KUBAN' Shield you put up a 'reproduction'? My understanding from the threads/opinions on "W.A.F." was that if the 'Top' of the "A" was the same thickness of the rest of the letter then that showed it was a 'reproduction'! That was supposed to cover all manufacturers' patterns as well!!

Your photo sure shows the same thickness on the entire letter 'A', so is it the photo or did you put a 'reproduction' up for view?

Hi Ron, the Kuban I posted is the one there was at the beginning of this thread, and it is an original Wurster Kuban shield.
It is not correct suppose that a shield should be considered fake only looking at the top of the "A". Different manufacturers used different dies for their shields so each one has its characteristics.
