    Some troubling things for me is the leg of the 4 is awfully short. Maybe it is the shot you provided. But, This is troubling for me.
    Could you post a closer obverse shot?

    I look forward to hearing others comments.

              ......I agree with Justin and K72 that this shield pictured is FAKE. Take a look at the top of the letter 'A'. It is too wide. This is the easiest way to tell the difference. This FAKE that you show, is very dangerous, and has fooled many collectors in the past. It will probably continue to do so in the future.

              The short downstroke on the numeral '4' is a new twist, one I haven't seen before.

                After following the link and comparing the two shields it appears obvious that this is a fake. Great link, it can turn a novice into an expert within moments.
